Welcome to the The Kawartha Hunter Jumper Association’s official website. The “KHJA” was formed by 4 barns, Buckhorn Farm Equestrian Centre, Kildare Stables at Trapalanda, Stillbrook Riding Stables and The Riders Haven. Each of these association barns hosts 1 KHJA show per year to form the 4 KHJA shows. Each show has the same format and rules. Membership to the KHJA is open to all. If you would like to become a member please download a membership form and post with your payment to the KHJA Secretary, Sheila Jopling. Click for membership form To become a KHJA Barn Team Member you need to either have regular lessons or board at one of the association barns. You may become a personal KHJA member without becoming a Barn Team member. The KHJA 2009 Show series dates are:
All KHJA members are invited to attend any or all of these shows. Points will be awarded for each ribbon won by a member and the points will be calculated from each show. The member with the most points collected after all 4 shows will be awarded KHJA personal Hi Point Champion 2009. The Champoion and Reserve Champion will be awarded their prizes at the KHJA Awards Night to be held on Saturday October 3rd.
